Gardner Littleton Demo Reel
E-mail: GardnerLitt@gmail.com Website: https://gardnerlitt.wixsite.com/website Hi! My name is Gardner Littleton, I'm a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelors of fine arts in animation! I've had a background in caricatures for four years and I focus on problem solving through exploration and iteration when it comes to animation and visual storytelling alike! This is my demo reel showcasing some of the work i've made in and around KCAI and exhibits my skill in animation which I can offer to you in production! My current focus is in storyboards as I explore visual storytelling as well! You can contact me at GardnerLitt@gmail.com If you'd like to see more of my work, you can find it through my website https://gardnerlitt.wixsite.com/website Or Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gardner.litt/ Or Twitter as well: https://twitter.com/slinkyfever Thanks for watching! I learned predominantly how important iteration is through the process of this film, and no better time as the pandemic would hit that year in Spring 2020. Within Sight
First year Junior level final made under Bona Bones at the Kansas City Art Institute, this projects focus was held on "Portraiture". We were to communicate with an individual, or ourselves, and study a story or time in their life. I chose myself and decided to cover my personal struggle with anxiety, highlighting a specific night where I became self aware of unconscious struggle.

Birds Eye (Soph 2019 Animation KCAI Final)
Much like the suns setting, a birds journey comes to an end. The focus of the project was to relay themes within Edgar Allen Poe's "The village Street" in a visual media. This is that product, taking the sense of whimsy and aw found in the language of the first part of the poem and instilling that through the sunset and backgrounds. The eyes and transformation express the distraught denial described in the second portion, which have a goal of inducing anxiety and tension. This was my sophomore final for my Spring 2019 Visual Communication Course at the KCAI Animation Department. Taken under professor John Berry.
